High School…

So, as this night comes to a close, I draw a parallel to the closing of our High School Yearbook.  Filled with the memories of the past year, I remember the wonderful times I had with my friends, and the heartbreaking fights and arguments that now-a-days seem so petty.  They say “you won’t remember this day when you’re 40” but I want this year to be forever ingrained in my mind.  The laughs, the tears, the love we shared are all things I cherish now and hope to forever keep close to my heart.  As I lay my emotions out to dry (literally, because I’m crying) I want you to remember what we had, whether good or bad, because without both, we can never truly appreciate each other.  You taught me so much and for that,I am honestly grateful. 

I’m going to lay my head on this pillow and hope for a brighter and dryer morning :’)
